A councillor's escape

When I was first elected as a local councillor back in May 2018, I used my yearly allowance to join my local golf club as it's only a six-minute walk away. Golf & Snooker are my escape times and I love socialising in the peaceful atmosphere.

Holes-in-one and snooker cues

I am very fortunate to have had two holes in one on the outer course in 2019 and 2023. In my Snooker & Billards world at the club, I bought my own cue in January 2023 and never looked back.

Elected to the board

I was elected to the board of the club in 2024 but stood down after a year as to enjoy my club more.
